Full 10-Bit Video Dynamic Range & Resolution Professional-standard 10-bit YPbPr and RGB digital component-video signals are generated by 10-Bit Video Digital to Analog Converters (1024 black to peak-white levels, and 1024 color levels). Inferior designs may trade-off 30% of the video signal resolution to generate sync signals, or use 8-bit DACs with less resolution and linearity.
Direct-Drive Digital (D3) Pattern Generation All video pattern & sync signal timing is directly generated from a low-noise, high-stability, 74.17582 MHz (74.25 MHz/1.001) crystal oscillator per SMPTE 720p and 1080i standards. Proprietary AccuPel 30-bit digital RGB/YPbPr HDTV pattern generation ICs directly drive three precision 10-bit resolution Digital-to-Analog Converters. Professional Quality Analog Signal Interfaces True 75-ohm BNC signal outputs provide the highest-quality connection to front projectors and high-definition displays over long cable runs. All video and HV/C sync signals are 75-ohm reverse terminated for superior pulse fidelity. HV/C sync signals drive 75-ohm inputs to 4-volt amplitudes for superior jitter and noise rejection.
